It was inevitable that I would take an interest in the art of painting as I had several artists in my family. Around 1966 I took an art class from The Famous Artists School of Art in Westport, Connecticut. It was then that I started painting in oil. When I went to work I obtained an associate degree in business administration from N.H. College and worked selling real estate, spent 6 years as general manager of a restaurant, and sold life insurance and annuities. Upon retiring from business in my fifties I took up painting again studying with notable artists. I am now living in N.C. and am a member of Trade Alley Arts Gallery in Hickory, N.C. I paint with oil, watercolor, and acrylic mediums.
