I live in a neighborhood of mixed residential housing and woods, and I occasionally see deer grazing at the edge of people’s yards.  They are full of a graceful peace that inspired this painting.  A sweet doe reaches for a drink from a cascade of water.  Set on an abstract background of overlapping shapes, the tone is meant to be light and fun.
